Indianapolis is worthy of mention due to their fantastic interagency cooperation in developing the Indianapolis Violence Reduction Partnership (IVRP). The probation department is and has been a very active member of IVRP since the beginning.

Tackling Violence in the Community

The Indianapolis Violence Reduction Partnership (IVRP) involves every local, state and federal criminal justice agency serving Marion County. The IVRP also works with a variety of crucial community partners including the Ten Point Coalition, Weed and Seed, Westside Ministries, and neighborhood leaders throughout Indianapolis.
