As with many of the new tools adopted in recent years in the criminal justice field, it is important to keep up with technological advances with regard to ignition interlock devices. Also beneficial would be a chance to review the optimal policies and procedures for their effective use. This workshop will conclude with an overview of legislative changes in the ignition interlock industry as well as some potential future issues and barriers.
