Reentry of Methamphetamine Addicted Offenders

The American Probation and Parole Association received a cooperative agreement from the Bureau of Justice Assistance to help community corrections agencies assess their supervision and programming strategies for addressing the needs of methamphetamine (meth) addicted offenders returning to the community. Through this 18-month project, the American Probation and Parole Association will research and identify effective supervision and programming strategies for addressing the issues faced by meth addicted offenders returning to the community and provide technical assistance to up to 3 sites to help them enhance, develop and implement effective strategies. Project staff will develop a tool that will help community corrections agencies assess their supervision and programming strategies for addressing the needs of meth addicted offenders on their caseload.
