The American Probation and Parole Association Kicks off Long Term Care Insurance Benefit Program



Dear APPA Members:

Long-Term Care (LTC) is the type of care you may need if you can no longer take care of yourself due to a physical or cognitive impairment, or the natural aging process. Maintaining independence. Protecting your assets. Leaving a legacy. LTC can help maintain the standard of living that you have become accustomed to. Whatever your goals, they all become possible when you plan ahead for long-term care. (LTC should not be confused with long term disability insurance that may be offered by your employer).

This benefit is open to all justice system professionals, not just members of APPA - please forward this information to all your colleagues, affiliate members and agency employees.

Note - this benefit is currently offered in all but these states: CA, CO, CT, IL, IN, MD, MA, NY and WA. However, these states will be included in the very near future.
