A library subscription to Perspectives is an opportunity for libraries to keep its patrons informed about the latest developments in the criminal justice system, particularly probation, parole and community corrections. Articles published in Perspectives are written by some of the leading academicians, as well as, nationally recognized professionals in the field of criminal justice. Perspectives is a valuable resource for any library that serves individuals preparing for or directly involved in the criminal justice profession, including students engaged in the study of community corrections. Perspectives, the premier journal for the criminal justice profession, is published quarterly and contains articles on the latest field research, evaluations of innovative programs and supervision strategies. All articles are reviewed and recommended by a four member editorial committee. The journal features a calendar of upcoming events which are of interest to criminal justice professionals, and serves as a "bulletin board" for relevant announcements. Perspectives also provides professionals with information about training and technical assistance opportunities through the publication of requests for proposals and offers its readers the most current news from the front lines of probation, parole and community corrections. Each library subscription will receive two copies of Perspectives to keep its patrons informed about the latest developments in the criminal justice system, particularly probation, parole and community corrections. The cost of a library subscription is $60 per year.
