   The Paroling Authority fixes minimum terms of imprisonment, grants or denies parole for adult offenders who are convicted of a felony, revokes parole, and investigates and makes recommendations to the Governor on applications for pardon. The Paroling Authority's field services supervise adult parolees.
   The Adult Probation Offices under the circuit courts supervise adult probationers.
