   The Kansas Parole Board reviews cases for adult offenders, holds initial hearings and public and institutional (closed) parole hearings, revocation hearings, investigates clemency applications and discharges parolees. The Department of Corrections, Division of Community and Field Services, provides supervision for parolees and Interstate Compact probation and parole cases.
   Adult and juvenile probation and pre-sentence investigations are administered by the Court Services Division of the District Courts. Exceptional cases are referred to state funded, but locally administered community corrections divisions of the county government for supervision.
