Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI)

   The CNMI Board of Parole is comprised of eight members. Four from Saipan, two from Rota and two from Tinian. Members are appointed by the governor and do not require the advice and consent of the Senate. The Board of Parole is somewhat semi-autonomous in the Executive Branch. CNMI is made up of a chain of islands in the Pacific, Saipan being the most populated is where the central government is located. Tinian and Rota have their own municipal governments.
   The CNMI Board of Parole through its parole office supervises parolees under the direct management of the Chief Parole Officer.
   The Adult Probation Office under the CNMI Superior Court supervises probationers.
   Vincent S. Attao, Chief Parole Officer, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and parole board members may be reached through the office in Saipan.
