The Parole Board is responsible for granting and revocation of parole for all commitments to state prison, reformatory and county houses of corrections serving a sentence of 60 days or more from either the Superior or District Court. A field staff under the direction of the Chief Parole Supervisor provides adult parole supervision. Parole officers are responsible to a Regional Supervisor who reports to the Deputy Chief Parole Supervisor. Nine regional offices serve the 14 counties in the state.
Adult and juvenile probation are the functions of the county courts.
