 Adult Probation and Parole Directory
Minnesota The Commissioner of Corrections has responsibility for setting conditions of supervised release for adults and has delegated this responsibility to the Hearings & Release Unit. Probation, parole and supervised release services are provided by the state and counties in different manners. Counties participating in the state Community Corrections Act (one-third of the 85 counties) provide probation, parole and supervised release services to both adults and juveniles. In the remaining counties, adult felony probation, parole and supervised release services are provided by the state, while juvenile probation and parole services and adult misdemeanant services are provided by county personnel or through contracts with the state.
