   The Board of Pardons and Paroles reviews cases and determines parole eligibility. The Parole Division, under the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, is responsible for parole supervision and pre-parole investigations in 10 geographic regions.  
   Adult community supervision (probation) is administered by the Community Justice Assistance Division of the Department of Criminal Justice.
