"Even more impressive than the scope and organization of the contents,
however, is the fact that nearly every practice, instrument, strategy and
recommendation is based upon carefully referenced research, at least
whenever this is possible. As a consequence, any user of this book will be
left with a very positive impression of the thoughtfulness and
professionalism of the field (and the authors) and will come away very
broadly educated about best practices and the research that supports them."
Tom Tobin, Ph.D. in a book review for
the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers newsletter, Winter 2005
