APPA conducts the only national training institute offering workshops, intensive training programs, special sessions and an exhibit showcase designed specifically for community corrections. The Winter Training Institute and the Annual Training Institute's workshops and sessions are developed by planning committees that research and address the critical issues facing the community corrections profession. APPA Institutes provide a forum to discuss the newest theories, examine advanced technology, develop creative solutions and network with colleagues.
