This intensive workshop provides essential knowledge and hands-on experience in artificial intelligence, specifically designed to increase officer satisfaction, retention, and enhance case management efficiency. Designed for chiefs, officers, and administrative staff without technical backgrounds, the program demonstrates how AI tools can help with workflow mapping, streamlining workflows, reducing administrative burdens, improving case outcomes, and giving time back for meaningful client interaction. Participants will explore three key content areas: AI fundamentals, AI tools for case management and administrative tasks, and ethical considerations in AI deployment, as well as a demonstration of the latest technology. This workshop equips community supervision professionals with the confidence and competency to effectively leverage AI technology; thereby reducing workload stress, improving job satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of public safety and community trust.

SESSION PRESENTERS

Robert Ambroselli
Director of Product, Enterprise Supervision, Tyler Technologies


Robert Ambroselli is the director of product for Enterprise Supervision within the Courts and Justice Division of Tyler Technologies, where he leads product strategy, vision, and execution for Tyler’s supervision platform used by county and statewide justice agencies. In his role, Robert partners closely with clients to design and deliver technology solutions that improve case management, streamline operations, and enhance outcomes for justice-involved individuals. With over 35 years of experience in public safety, probation, and parole, Robert brings a practitioner’s perspective to product innovation. Before joining Tyler, he served as Assistant Chief of the Office of Correctional Safety for the State of California and was appointed Director of State Parole by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. His deep operational expertise and leadership experience in community corrections inform his approach to developing modern, data-driven tools that support agencies in achieving safer, more efficient supervision practices.


John "Jack" Martin
Client Executive, Tyler Technologies


Jack Martin, former director of the Clark County Department of Juvenile Justice Services, has served over three decades in law enforcement, both in the adult and juvenile arenas. Mr. Martin began his career in California before transitioning to Arizona and Hawaii as a subject matter expert rebuilding troubled correctional systems experiencing rampant civil rights violations. Mr. Martin earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration and communications, and master’s in public administration, and is a national speaker for operational issues surrounding cultural change initiatives within law enforcement agencies, and expert designing and teaching classes for all working in the justice system, adult or juvenile. Mr. Martin has also served on the Southern Nevada local workforce board as Vice Chair, Program Chair, and operational expert. He has developed numerous re-entry programs utilizing blended funding streams and looks forward to sharing his 30+ years of experience building workforce opportunities for our second-chance citizens.


Ken Miles
VP & General Manager, Tyler Technologies


Ken Miles is the vice president and general manager of Enterprise Supervision at Tyler Technologies. His career began with honorable service in the US Marine Corps and a significant tenure in Law Enforcement. Miles transitioned to integrated criminal justice solutions after successfully implementing a countywide system as a client, which redirected his career path. Since joining Tyler Technologies in 2002, he has been a cornerstone of the Courts & Justice Division. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing Tyler’s products to meet the evolving needs of the justice community. With over thirty years of industry experience, Miles has successfully delivered major projects across the United States and internationally.
