Leadership Institute Alumni & Mentors Lunch & Learn: Self-leadership through Peace Education
SESSION INFO
Monday, March 2, 2026
11:50 AM - 12:50 PM
Session Type: Workshop
Self-leadership
Effective leadership starts with self-leadership, which comprises:
• Self-discovery and self-awareness
• Self-acceptance and self-appreciation
• Self-management, including self-motivation and self-discipline
• Self-growth
• Accountability
In other words, self-leadership requires you to: know yourself, value yourself, steer yourself, grow yourself and own your own impact. By knowing yourself, understanding your strengths, you can choose to act consciously and in so doing, influence significant aspects of your life.
The Prem Rawat Foundation’s Peace Education Program is a series of facilitated video-based workshops on the themes: Peace, Appreciation, Inner Strength, Self-awareness, Clarity, Understanding, Dignity, Choice, Hope, and Contentment.
The program is specifically designed to enable participants to come to their own understanding of who they are as a human being, their innate strengths, and the often-undiscovered attribute of personal peace. These understandings are foundational for supporting the development of meaningful self-leadership.
The Free Lunch & Learn Session
The Prem Rawat Foundation is pleased to collaborate with the American Probation & Parole Association to offer its Peace Education Program to Leadership Institute Alumni and Mentors, free of charge.
You are invited to this Lunch & Learn to find out how the Peace Education Program complements the Leadership Institute and discover more about the content. Lunch (including a gluten-free vegetarian option) will be provided for the first 30 attendees.
