Tim D. Hardy has been the Director of the Yuma County Juvenile Justice Center for the last twenty-one years, with the responsibility of administrating ten separate divisions, including a charter high school. As director, Tim oversees a $10 million dollar annual budget for the Yuma County Juvenile Justice Center, which employs 137 employees, numerous volunteers. He is also responsible for a 68 bed juvenile detention facility. Tim graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1978 with a Bachelor=s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. He then returned to Yuma, where he was employed as a police officer. Tim was hired as a probation officer with the Yuma County Juvenile Court in 1991. In 1994, he was promoted to Probation Supervisor. In 1996, Tim was assigned to oversee the Juvenile Detention Department and in 1997 was appointed to the position of director. Tim belongs to several associations including, the National Association of Probation Executives, the Arizona Chief Probation Officers Association, the American Probation and Parole Association and the American Corrections Association, He is currently the Chairman of Kids at Hope Yuma, which is the first and only Chapter of National Kids at Hope and President of the American Probation and Parole Association
