Session Type: Workshop

Smartphone applications are enhancing the way officers engage with clients. In our mobile-dependent society, apps and technology are poised to play a critical role in the future of community corrections. Integrated, secure, and lower cost smartphone applications can help streamline and better manage common and time-consuming supervision interactions with clients. And while a lot of discussion on the value of smartphone applications centers on delivering officer efficiencies, research shows that smartphones can be effective tools for achieving better client outcomes.
