Remote Reporting and Risk/Needs/Responsivity: Past, Present and Future. It’s not just for Low-Risk Anymore!

SESSION INFO

Tuesday, August 29, 2023
8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Session Type: Workshop

The pandemic taught us many lessons. Chief among those was to prioritize individuals with the highest risk/need for interventions. Conversely, we were reminded of the importance of not over supervising individuals with the lowest risk/need for interventions. In this session you will hear from two very different organizations and how they use Remote Reporting to manage individuals on the lower risk/need end of the intervention scale. They will share their philosophy behind their decisions, the trials and tribulations of implementing their Remote Reporting programs, and the Remote Reporting supervision approaches they use. Participants will see real world examples and hear the experiences of two individuals from different levels in their organizations, from line supervisor to an agency executive. Attendees can anticipate an interactive session where the presenters will engage the audience in thought exercises, conversation about Risk/Need/Responsivity, and encourage attendees to evaluate the potential of a similar Remote Reporting program.
