When Probation Becomes Homeless, The Best Way to Think Outside of the Box is to Lose Your Box

SESSION INFO

1:45 PM - 2:45 PM
Session Type: Workshop

In April 2016, New Orleans Office of Probation and Parole lost it's lease after over 30 years at the same location. With no where to call home, District Manager Steven Lassalle had to redefine many of the everyday processes to keep the functionality of the work of P&P alive. The New Orleans office used several locations to continue to serve those they supervised. What would you do if this were to happen in your office? What processes in your field can be shorten, eliminated, or modified?
