County-based Medi Cal Administrative Activities (CMAA) is a grant funded program which generates revenue for the Los Angeles County Probation Department. The program assists in improving the availability and accessibility of Medi-Cal services along with many other services, to Medi-Cal eligible and potentially eligible individuals, their families, and to victims. This workshop will provide an overview of the CMAA program and how it can be a productive way to improve the lives of individuals in our communities, while generating revenue for the department. Participants will learn and use the necessary tools to effectively manage the program within their departments, to ensure success.

SESSION PRESENTERS

Felicia Guerrero
Deputy Probation Officer 2, Los Angeles County Probation


Felicia Guerrero has 30 years as a sworn peace officer. She is the Lead MAA Coordinator for the Los Angeles County Probation Department’s Adult CORE and Pretrial Services. Felicia earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology, at the California State University, Los Angeles in 1995.
