Amrit Dhir
Director of Partnerships, Recidiviz


Amrit Dhir is the Director of Partnerships at Recidiviz, a technology non-profit bringing clarity to the criminal justice system by providing clear, actionable, and current data. Previously, he spent over a decade at the intersection of technology and new business development, building up partnerships and operations teams for innovative products at Sidewalk Labs, Google for Startups, Google Research/AI, X, and Verily.


Josh Tewalt
Director, ID Department of Correction


As Idaho Department of Correction Director, Josh Tewalt oversees the entirety of the department’s operations including its nine prisons, five community reentry centers, and seven probation and parole districts. Josh Tewalt has spent his career in public service, serving as staff for two Idaho governors and a U.S. congressman before serving as the IDOC’s deputy chief of prisons from 2011 to 2015. Between 2015 and 2017, Josh served as the agency’s administrator of budget and policy. He left IDOC in 2017 to work for the Correctional Leaders Association (then called the Association of State Correctional Administrators). Josh was appointed by the Board of Correction in December 2018. As IDOC’s director, Josh oversees the entirety of the department’s operations including its nine prisons, five community reentry centers, and seven probation and parole districts.
