Results-Driven Coaching is a workshop that invites the audience into the examination room with supervision agency leaders from quality control and the training unit as they share the impact of their partnership upon outcomes across supervision practices. Missouri Probation and Parole invites attendees to consider a results-based approach to develop evidence-based practices in their respective agencies, communities, and throughout the country.

SESSION PRESENTERS

Kim Mills
Regional Training Coordinator Unit Manager, MO Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole


Kim Mills has worked for the Missouri Department of Corrections for over 27 years all within the Division of Probation and Parole. She has held the position of Probation and Parole Officer, Unit Supervisor, and Regional Training Coordinator Manager. During her tenure, Kim has supervised a variety of caseloads and was involved in the implementation of the Henry County Drug Court Program, the Henry and Johnson County Re-entry Program, as well as the partnership between P&P and the University of Central Missouri Health Studies and building resiliency programs for Henry and Johnson County probation and parole officers. Kim has been involved in several process improvement implementations including redesigning P&P Preservice training, supervisory training, and curriculum and design as well as serving on several Division and Departmental committees including Behavior Matrix, Manual Work Group, Electronic Monitoring, and ORAS validation. She holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in research and design and spent 10 years as an adjunct professor for psychology courses for a local community college. She has 20 years of experience as an adjunct instructor for Probation and Parole for such topics as Violation Process, Case Management, Building Resiliency, Courtroom Testimony, and Motivational Interviewing. Kim provides ongoing support to line staff and management staff throughout Missouri to enhance the quality of our client supervision and increase successful outcomes through data driven coaching and training.


Chantelle Smith
Quality Control Manager, MO Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole


Chantelle Smith has worked for the Missouri Department of Corrections for over 24 years all within the Division of Probation and Parole. She has held the position of Probation and Parole Officer, Unit Supervisor, Quality Control Coordinator and currently serves as a Quality Control Manager. During her tenure, Chantelle has supervised a variety of caseloads and been involved in several initiatives, to include the development and implementation of the Missouri Offender Management Matrix (MOMM) and the Ohio Risk Assessment System (ORAS) Automation for the Department. She holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and has years of experience supervising officers involved with Treatment Courts. She is also a trainer within the Department on various topics to include Effective Case Management and Planning. She provides ongoing support to line staff and management staff throughout Missouri to enhance the quality of our client supervision and increase successful outcomes.
