SESSION INFO

Monday, February 27, 2023
10:15 AM - 11:15 AM
Session Type: Workshop

Through a mix of lecture and hands-on activities participants will learn to develop collaborative partnerships with clients, other agencies, and community-based providers to create individualized case plans that address core needs, as opposed to symptoms. They will also learn how to prioritize needs and services within shortened probation sentences to build sustainable supports for clients upon termination of probation. In addition, participants will be given an Outreach Guide that offers strategies for expanding their service array and collaborating better with other community-based organizations. By the end of this session, participants will understand how to connect these strategies to their work by practicing their new skills via a hands-on activity illustrating the impact collaboration has on separate teams working together to reach a common goal.
