The American Probation and Parole Association is pleased to issue a Call for Presenters for its 47th Annual Training Institute, August 28 – 31, 2022, in Chicago, IL.
The goal of this training institute is to provide participants with workshop opportunities that focus on skill set development, an increase in relevant competencies, and enhancing personal and professional development. Preference will be given to workshop proposals that include adult–learning activities, audience participation, new skill development, significant knowledge enhancement, and new research for the field of community corrections.
Training institute participants include community corrections professionals in the fields of pretrial, probation, and parole. Attendees are representatives of reentry services, program and treatment providers, the judiciary, criminal justice researchers and educators, and others who are interested in the industry.
