don't have time to waste:
APPA’s Dennis Maloney Community Service Project gives members and stakeholders a chance to give back to the community during each training institute.
Learn More »We are pleased to be planning our 2023 Winter Regional Training institutes and look forward to seeing you. We recognize that in-person attendees will be coming in from various parts of the country, with differing COVID guidelines and restrictions. Our goal is to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible by adhering to reasonable guidelines.
As of December 8, 2022, each of our host cities has lifted its indoor mask requirements. We are therefore proceeding with our in-person plans with the following requirements for ALL attendees, volunteers, and staff but especially those who are immunocompromised.
APPA is working closely with our partner Hotels to ensure all guests are provided with a healthy and successful experience from the preparation through the execution of the event. As we start the training institute, there may be additional optional or required guidelines for safety measures.
APPA’s no refund policy cut-off date is December 20, 2022. While there are valid reasons an individual cannot attend the training institute after registering, especially during the pandemic, unfortunately, the association must hold firm to this policy. APPA is bound by contractual obligations to the meeting venue to cover costs and/or penalties.
APPA values all members and stakeholders. If an individual is unable to attend the in-person training institute, regardless of the reason, APPA will transfer (substitute) registration to another individual from the same agency. Written requests must be sent to Kimberly Mills.
Thanks for your ongoing support of the association, and more importantly, for your belief in professional development and networking.
