Certified Community Supervision Professional (CCSP)

CCSP

Strengthen Skills. Support Lasting Change.

Community supervision work is more complex than ever. Officers and practitioners are expected to manage risk, support behavior change, navigate trauma, and deliver results—often at the same time, and with limited resources.

The Certified Community Supervision Professional (CCSP) is a new national certification curated by APPA to support the real work of community supervision. CCSP is designed for probation, parole, reentry, and community corrections professionals who want practical, research-informed tools they can apply immediately in their day-to-day work.

This 25-hour, self-paced certification brings together best practices from supervision, behavior change science, neuroscience, and adult learning into a clear, usable practice model. Rather than adding another layer of theory, CCSP focuses on how professionals engage clients, make decisions, and apply evidence-based strategies in real supervision settings.

Agency Cohort Enrollment (25+ Participants)

Agencies enrolling 25 or more participants in CCSP receive 30% off, reducing the cost to $595 per seat.

How it works:

  • The discount is automatically applied at checkout when 25+ seats are purchased in a single transaction.
  • The purchasing agency representative becomes the cohort administrator.
  • Practical tools you can use immediately
  • The cohort administrator can monitor enrollment, track progress, and run completion reports through the platform dashboard.

This structure allows agencies to implement CCSP as a coordinated professional development initiative with built-in oversight and accountability.
For agencies considering enrollment of more than 25 staff, no special code is required—simply select 25 or more seats at checkout to activate the cohort rate.
