Limited access, register today!
Check it out!A special, one-day Women’s Symposium to take place on Saturday, August 27, 2022. The goal is to bring together women in the community corrections field from all stages of life to promote strength and courage and inspire them to find their voice as leaders within their organizations.
Check it out!Although hundreds of community corrections professionals will join us in beautiful Chicago, IL, APPA recognizes that travel is still difficult for many during these uncertain times. As such, our goal is to be THE supplemental educational resource for your agency, not just for those who can travel. For that reason, APPA is proudly hosting this training institute as a hybrid event. So, those unable to join us in-person can purchase a virtual ticket to cost-effective training from your home or office.
As a reminder, you get the benefit of live-streamed sessions, on-demand workshops, and webinar recordings.
Virtual: There is a no refund policy for the virtual training institute due to contractual agreement to the virtual platform host.
Virtual Remedy: If an individual is unable to attend the virtual training institute, the registration may be transferred (substituted) to another individual from the same agency. Written requests must be sent to Kimberly Mills.
In-Person: APPA’s no refund policy cut-off date is July 29, 2022. While there are valid reasons an individual cannot attend the training institute after registering, especially during the pandemic, unfortunately, the association must hold firm to this policy. APPA is bound by contractual obligations to the meeting venue to cover costs and/or penalties.
In-Person Remedies: APPA values all members and stakeholders. If an individual is unable to attend the in-person training institute, regardless of the reason, APPA will offer one of the following remedies: (1) transfer registration fee to the virtual training institute – three individuals may attend to substitute for one in person registration, and/or (2) transfer (substitute) registration to another individual from the same agency. Written requests must be sent to Kimberly Mills.
Thanks for your ongoing support of the association, and more importantly, for your belief in professional development and networking.
