Public Safety Performance Project
Contracting Agency: Pew Charitable Trusts

APPA and the Pew Charitable Trusts have teamed-up to collect spending data to provide a detailed national picture of state-level spending on probation, parole and prisons over the past 25 years. By finding out what states have spent for personnel, operating costs, treatment costs, etc. APPA and Pew hope to demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of community supervision alternatives.
