Are guns in the hands of supervised offenders putting you at risk? Do you feel safe leaving your office for a home contact? What do you do if you see a gun on during a home contact? By federal and state law, felons and domestic violence offenders are prohibited from gun possession. This PSN audio teleconference / webcast will look at the special issues of providing proactive probation and parole supervision for probationers and/or parolees who may be armed or have access to guns and recognizing the need for officer safety.
