Technical Assistance and Training for Intensive Supervision Programs
Contracting Agency: Bureau of Justice Assistance

This project called for extensive research, and subsequent curriculum development, training and technical assistance activities on intensive supervision programs (ISP). An extensive, national survey was conducted of ISP programs through this project. The two-pronged survey provided data from both the administrative and practitioner perspectives. The overall project involved assessment of the current state of ISPs and development of a prototypical ISP based upon effective correctional research to be used for training and technical assistance activities.
